French Riviera Walks - Cap d'Antibes

Cap d'Antibes is home to some of the most expensive villas on the Cote d'Azur.
In case their gardens border on the beach, they are usually well protected by fences or stone walls.
The walk round the Cap d'Antibes is nonetheless very much worth it; very close to the sea (you may get wet even on a windy day), and the green palm, olive and pine trees full of cigales are right behind to you.
The most recent time I walked up to Bauroux it was January (New Year's Day actually) , and snow and ice patches made the walk a bit more difficult; although nothing to hard, as temperatures had risen a bit during the last few days.
Best time to walk is from May to November.

View on the Alps from Cap d'Antibes In winter the snow covered Alps make for a splendid contrast with the blue water of the sea

Leave your car at the Plage de Garoupe (there is also a bus stop nearby), and start the 1.5 hour round trip from there.
