Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat lies a few kilometers east of Nice, just sout of the village of Villefranche-sur-Mer.
This walk follows the coastal path that skirts the entire peninsula; you can start for example at Pointe Passable, parking your car in one of the streets nearby (see also the map below).
This is an easy walk, which can be done at any time of the year, as large pine trees provide plenty of shade against the sun. From Pointe Passable to the village of Saint-Jean takes about 1h30, which includes several stops to take in the views.
It is very similar to the walk around Cap d'Antibes, but the views are different: to the west one sees Nice and the silhouettes of the Esterel mountains; and to the east, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin and Monaco.
