Îles de Lérins:
Two beautiful islands a stone's throw from Cannes

The Îles de Lérins are two islands just off the coast of Cannes, and reachable by ferry, taking just about 15mins.

Île Saint Honorat

Saint Honorat is the smaller of the two, less busy and closer to its natural wild state.
Key words are; crystal clear waters, rocky coastline, beautiful views on Cannes and the mountains beyond.. and of course the cigales!
A perfect place for a picnic, a swim, or a stroll through the pine forests. Here's a photo impression of my most recent visit to the island:

Île Sainte Marguerite

Saint Marguerite is the bigger island, and houses a museum (Museum of the Sea), and a restaurant. For information and tickets visit the Ile Sainte Marguerite website.
